Account Deletion Request
How GoatOut users and hosts can request deletion of their account and associated personal data.

How to request deletion
To request deletion of your GoatOut account and associated personal data, email privacy@goatout.in from your registered email address or include your registered phone number in the request.
Use the subject line: Account deletion request. If your request relates to a booking or host account, include the booking ID or host ID where available.
What we delete
After verifying account ownership, we will delete or deactivate your user profile and remove or anonymize personal information that is no longer needed to provide the service.
For host accounts, we will remove or deactivate the host profile from active systems where possible after pending workshops, payouts, refunds, disputes, or compliance checks are closed.
What we may retain
Some records may be retained where required or reasonably necessary for bookings, payments, refunds, payouts, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, safety, audit, legal compliance, or enforcement of our terms.
Retained records will be limited to the purpose for which they are kept and may be separated from active product systems where practical.
Processing time
We aim to acknowledge deletion requests within 7 business days after receiving enough information to verify the account.
Completion timelines may vary where there are active bookings, refunds, payouts, disputes, legal holds, or payment-related records that must be retained.
