Terms of Service

The terms that govern access to GoatOut websites, mobile apps, host tools, bookings, tickets, workshops, payments, and related services.

Last updated: 26 May 2026

Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the GoatOut website, user app, host app, admin-supported services, deep links, ticketing flows, payment flows, support channels, and any other related software or services operated under the GoatOut brand, collectively called the Platform.

By accessing the Platform, creating an account, logging in with OTP or Truecaller, browsing workshops, listing workshops, buying tickets, checking in attendees, contacting support, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and enter into a legally binding agreement with Goatout Technologies Private Limited, referred to as GoatOut, we, us, or our.

If you do not agree with these Terms, or if you are not legally able to be bound by them, you must not access or use the Platform. Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, Refund and Cancellation Policy, Host Partner Terms where applicable, Community and Safety Guidelines, and any workshop-specific terms shown before booking.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on the Platform with the latest update date. Your continued use of the Platform after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

Definitions

User, customer, you, or your means any person who accesses the Platform, browses workshops, books a ticket, attends a workshop, creates an account, or interacts with support.

Host, partner, organizer, or merchant means any person, business, instructor, studio, venue, organization, or entity that applies to list, lists, manages, sells, or delivers workshops or experiences through the Platform.

Workshop means any offline class, session, workshop, activity, event, experience, meet-up, creative session, skill session, recreational activity, or similar offering listed on the Platform by a host.

Content means text, images, workshop thumbnails, videos, descriptions, reviews, ratings, profiles, messages, venue details, location data, QR tickets, deep-link previews, logos, artwork, and any other information or material available on or submitted through the Platform.

Services overview

GoatOut helps users discover, evaluate, book, pay for, attend, and manage offline workshops and experiences. GoatOut also provides host tools for onboarding, profile review, workshop creation, booking management, QR check-in, payout visibility, and operational support.

The Platform may be available only in selected cities, regions, devices, operating systems, or user groups. Features may differ between development, staging, and production environments and may change as the product evolves.

GoatOut is a technology platform. Hosts are responsible for the accuracy, legality, safety, quality, venue readiness, and delivery of workshops they list unless GoatOut expressly states otherwise in writing.

Eligibility

You must be competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to use the Platform independently. If you are under 18 years of age, you may use the Platform only under the supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms.

If you use the Platform on behalf of a company, studio, host, organization, or another person, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on their behalf and that you and such person or entity will be responsible for compliance with these Terms.

We may refuse, suspend, restrict, or terminate access if we believe you are not eligible, have provided false information, have violated these Terms, or may create legal, safety, fraud, or operational risk.

Accounts, login, and communications

You may be required to create or verify an account using phone OTP, WhatsApp OTP, SMS OTP, Truecaller, email OTP, or any other login method supported by GoatOut. You must provide accurate and current information and keep your account secure.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs from your account, device, phone number, login session, or host profile. Do not share OTPs, account access, QR tickets, admin links, or host credentials with unauthorized persons.

By registering or using the Platform, you consent to receive transactional, service, security, booking, ticket, refund, host-review, payout, support, policy, and account-related communications by app notification, SMS, WhatsApp, email, phone call, or other electronic means. Promotional communications may be sent where permitted by law and may include opt-out options where applicable.

GoatOut will never ask you to share OTP, card PIN, CVV, banking password, or other sensitive authentication information over phone, email, chat, or social media. Suspicious requests should be reported to support immediately.

User bookings and tickets

Workshop information such as title, host, venue, city, date, time, duration, price, capacity, inclusions, prerequisites, age limits, cancellation window, safety instructions, and other terms may be shown before booking. You are responsible for reviewing this information before completing a booking.

A booking is confirmed only after successful payment, successful mock payment in a development environment, or another confirmation method expressly supported by GoatOut. Mere selection of a workshop or initiation of payment does not guarantee a ticket.

Tickets are generally issued in digital form and may include a QR code, booking ID, or other verification mechanism. You may be required to show the ticket, registered phone number, valid identity proof, or booking confirmation at the venue.

Tickets are for personal use unless the workshop page says otherwise. You must not resell, commercially transfer, duplicate, tamper with, misuse, or fraudulently share tickets or QR codes.

Payments, fees, and taxes

The Platform may support UPI, cards, net banking, wallets, payment gateway checkout, sandbox payments, mock development payments, or other payment methods through third-party payment providers. Available payment methods may change from time to time.

Prices, taxes, convenience fees, platform fees, gateway charges, discounts, coupons, and other charges will be shown where applicable before payment or in the booking flow. By completing payment, you authorize the payment provider and GoatOut to process the transaction.

GoatOut may charge users a platform fee, convenience fee, handling fee, or other service fee. GoatOut may charge hosts commission, payment processing deductions, taxes, penalties, recovery amounts, or other charges as described in host terms, payout rules, or commercial arrangements.

Payment failures, pending transactions, delayed confirmations, double debits, bank reversals, chargebacks, and gateway errors may take time to reconcile. If your payment is debited but no ticket is issued, contact support with the payment reference and registered phone number.

Cancellations, refunds, and disputes

Cancellation and refund eligibility depends on the workshop-specific terms, the cancellation cutoff shown in the app, host policy, payment status, dispute facts, applicable law, and GoatOut review.

Unless stated otherwise, platform fees, convenience fees, payment gateway charges, taxes on such fees, and already incurred costs may be non-refundable. Refunds, where approved, are normally processed to the original payment method and may take time depending on banks, payment gateways, and settlement partners.

If a host cancels, materially changes, fails to deliver, denies valid entry, or creates a safety issue, GoatOut may assist affected users and may issue refunds or other remedies at its discretion after review.

Any issue relating to a workshop should be reported as soon as possible with the booking ID, workshop name, screenshots if any, and issue summary. Delay in reporting may affect our ability to verify and resolve the issue.

Host onboarding, approval, and obligations

Hosts must submit accurate personal, professional, organization, venue, tax, payout, and workshop information. GoatOut may manually review host accounts before allowing workshop creation, publication, booking, or payouts.

Approval is not permanent. GoatOut may re-review, pause, restrict, reject, delist, suspend, or terminate a host or workshop if information is incomplete, inaccurate, misleading, unsafe, unlawful, low quality, policy-violating, or creates business, legal, payment, fraud, or reputational risk.

Hosts are responsible for required permissions, venue arrangements, safety controls, instructor quality, materials, accessibility disclosures, attendee handling, capacity management, check-in, refunds caused by host failure, and compliance with applicable laws and taxes.

Host payouts may be held, adjusted, reduced, reversed, or recovered for refunds, cancellations, disputes, chargebacks, fraud checks, tax or compliance review, safety incidents, incorrect payout details, policy violations, or penalties under host terms.

Content and intellectual property

GoatOut owns or licenses the Platform, software, design, interfaces, logos, trademarks, brand assets, code, workflows, data compilations, and other proprietary materials created or controlled by GoatOut. You receive only a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Platform as permitted by these Terms.

You must not copy, scrape, crawl, reproduce, modify, reverse engineer, sell, rent, license, frame, exploit, or create derivative works from the Platform, GoatOut content, or GoatOut brand assets except as expressly permitted in writing.

By uploading or submitting content to GoatOut, including workshop descriptions, thumbnails, profile information, venue images, reviews, support messages, and feedback, you confirm that you have the right to share it and grant GoatOut a worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to host, store, use, reproduce, display, modify, resize, crop, watermark, distribute, promote, analyze, and create derivative works from such content for operating, improving, marketing, and protecting the Platform.

Hosts understand that workshop thumbnails or related images may be used in public workshop pages, deep-link previews, social sharing cards, app listings, marketing creatives, and may include GoatOut branding or watermarking for attribution and platform visibility.

Reviews, feedback, and public contributions

Any ratings, reviews, comments, photographs, or other public contributions you submit must be truthful, lawful, based on genuine experience where applicable, and must not violate the rights of any person.

GoatOut may remove, hide, moderate, edit for formatting, restrict, or disable content that appears false, harmful, unlawful, abusive, misleading, spammy, promotional, infringing, unsafe, discriminatory, or otherwise inconsistent with the Platform.

If you provide suggestions, ideas, bug reports, improvements, product feedback, or other feedback, GoatOut may use it without restriction, compensation, confidentiality obligation, or attribution.

Restrictions on use

You must not use the Platform for unlawful activity, fraud, fake bookings, payment abuse, harassment, hate, threats, impersonation, spam, scraping, unauthorized automation, unauthorized access, malware, reverse engineering, security bypass, or interference with the Platform.

You must not upload or transmit content that is obscene, defamatory, discriminatory, hateful, sexually exploitative, invasive of privacy, harmful to minors, promotes money laundering or gambling, violates intellectual property rights, threatens public order or national security, or violates applicable Indian law.

You must not misuse another user's or host's personal data, contact attendees outside legitimate workshop needs, sell attendee lists, share booking data with unauthorized parties, or use GoatOut data for competing, advertising, or unrelated purposes.

GoatOut may investigate suspected misuse and may suspend accounts, cancel bookings, deny refunds, hold payouts, remove content, preserve records, or cooperate with law enforcement where appropriate.

Third-party services

The Platform may rely on or link to third-party services such as payment gateways, OTP providers, WhatsApp providers, Truecaller, email providers, hosting providers, analytics tools, image storage and delivery providers, map or location services, app stores, and other infrastructure partners.

Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. GoatOut is not responsible for third-party outages, delays, pricing, data practices, approval decisions, template delays, payment failures, app-store decisions, or service interruptions beyond our reasonable control.

External links, host websites, venue pages, social links, app-store links, and third-party pages are provided for convenience. You access them at your own risk.

Safety and in-person experiences

Workshops are offline experiences and may involve ordinary real-world risks including travel, venue conditions, tools, materials, physical activity, food, allergens, crowds, equipment, weather, or host and attendee conduct.

Users must follow venue rules, host instructions, age restrictions, safety briefings, and applicable laws. Hosts must disclose known risks and maintain reasonable safety practices appropriate for the workshop.

For immediate danger, medical emergency, violence, fire, or criminal activity, contact local emergency services first. You may also report incidents to GoatOut support for platform action.

Service changes and availability

GoatOut may modify, test, suspend, discontinue, restrict, or replace any feature, city, service, workflow, fee, policy, or integration at any time. Some users may see different features as part of testing, staged rollout, platform improvement, or operational control.

We aim to keep the Platform reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or always-available access. Maintenance, third-party outages, device issues, network issues, force majeure events, or operational problems may affect availability.

Disclaimers

The Platform and services are provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. GoatOut does not guarantee that every workshop will meet your expectations, that every host detail is error-free, or that third-party services will operate without interruption.

GoatOut does not endorse every statement, image, claim, venue, host credential, attendee review, or third-party content available through the Platform. You should use reasonable judgment before booking, attending, hosting, or relying on information.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GoatOut will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, loss-of-profit, loss-of-business, loss-of-data, reputational, travel, accommodation, personal expenditure, or similar damages arising from use of the Platform or attendance at a workshop.

Subject to applicable law and any non-waivable consumer rights, GoatOut's aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Platform, a booking, or these Terms will not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific booking giving rise to the claim or INR 5,000, whichever is lower.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GoatOut, its directors, officers, employees, contractors, service providers, and affiliates from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your content, misuse of the Platform, violation of these Terms, violation of law, infringement of third-party rights, fraud, unsafe conduct, or breach of host or user obligations.

Termination and account deletion

GoatOut may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Platform with or without notice if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, misused the Platform, provided false information, or used the Platform unlawfully.

You may request account deletion or data action using the contact details below or any in-app flow we make available. Certain records relating to bookings, payments, refunds, tax, fraud prevention, disputes, safety, audit, and legal compliance may be retained as required or reasonably necessary.

Termination does not affect obligations or rights that arose before termination, including payment obligations, refund handling, payout adjustments, indemnity, intellectual property rights, dispute handling, and legal compliance.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer protection rights and mandatory law, courts in India having competent jurisdiction over the relevant dispute will have jurisdiction. GoatOut may update this jurisdiction clause after its registered office and statutory disclosures are finalized.
